HOW TO SELECT A SAFETY CABINET
Size and type of container:
Determine if you are storing safety cans, 30- and 55-gallon (110- and 200-L) drums, smaller paint cans, 1 quart (4-L) bottles, aerosols,dispenser cans or other containers.
Capacity:
Select specialty cabinets for on-the-spot needs; larger cabinets for expanded or large quantity storage.
Type of chemical
Easily identify, organize and segregate liquids by using the correct color cabinets.
Door type:
Generally, the style of the door is chosen according to personal preference.
1. Manual Door
The economical manual-close enables the door to fully open by 180°. After pushing and closing it, the door will automatically lock.
2. Self Closed
This design features automatic positioning, automatic locking, and automatic closing, automatically closing the door upon release. Its mechanical mechanism is located at the top of the cabinet, with fusible buckles keeping the door open during use. In the event of a fire, the fusible buckle melts at 68°C, automatically closing the door
