Class II, Type A2
Room air is drawn into the grille located in the air foil, and directed under the work surface by negative pressure. The air beneath the work surface contains unfiltered room air and air that has just passed through the work area.
This air is drawn by the blower through the back plenum of the cabinet, where approximately 70% of the air is recirculated through the supply ULPA filter and back over the work area as laminar clean air.
The balance of the contaminated air is discharged to the environment as clean air after passing through the exhaust ULPA filter.
